INCIDENCE AND RISK FACTORS FOR SUSTAINED HEPATIC FUNCTION TOXICITY 6 MONTHS AFTER RADIOEMBOLIZATION: ANALYSIS OF THE RADIATION-EMITTING SIR-SPHERES IN NON-RESECTABLE LIVER TUMOR (RESIN) REGISTRY
-JOURNAL OF GASTROINTESTINAL ONCOLOGY

Liver function prior to Radioembolization is the strongest predictor of toxicity post treatment. Treatment of large liver volumes with small volume disease effect toxicity rates.

CONCOMITANT CAPECITABINE WITH HEPATIC DELIVERY OF DRUG ELUTING BEADS IN METASTATIC COLORECTAL CANCER
-ANTICANCER RESEARCH

There is no added toxicity when adding capecitabine with DEBIRI and concurrent capecitabine may provide for better oiutcomes than DEBIRI alone.

BUILDING BRIDGES: THE USE OF A SYNCHRONOUS 915MHZ MWA SYSTEM TO BRIDGE PATIENTS WITH HEPATOCELLULAR CANCER  TO LIVER TRANSPLANT
-2020 SIO ANNUAL MEETING

MWA utilizing a synchronized 915MHz ablation system is an effective method to bridge patients with HCC to liver transplant. The current study showed an average bridge time of 353 days with a 5.8% dropout rate. This compares favorably with rates in the reported literature and may be particularly applicable for regions with long wait list times.
